Rockford Public Schools
Dr. Grinter has been the dentist for 6 Rockford Public Schools since 2011. This school year (2013-2014) he will be the dentist for 12 Rockford schools and will continue to offer comprehensive dental services. Dr. Grinter will work with the schools to be a regular presence in the schools for the students

- Dental disease is preventable, yet dental care is the most common unmet health treatment need in children.
- In the U.S., 9 million children lack health insurance, and more than twice that number lack access to oral health services.
- Untreated dental caries can lead to pain, weight loss, missed school days, decreased concentration, poor appearance, and decreased self-esteem.
The program is completely optional.
Dr. Grinter will be a continued presence in the schools this year and in the future so students can have a permanent dental home in the school.
